The pencil and the rubber The pencil (stolz): Hello, boys and girls! I'm a pencil. Drawing and writing, that's my job. The rubber (plump): Hi, I'm a rubber. Rubbing, that's what I do. The pencil (wendet sich dem Radiergummi zu): Who is that? A rubber? What kind of name! (lachend) A rubber! (wendet sich dann an die Schülerinnen und Schüler, sagt stolz) I'm a pencil. I can draw wonderful pictures. (Der Bleistift beginnt eine Blume zu zeichnen. Das Radiergummi schaut zu, beginnt dann, die Blume auszuradieren.) The pencil (verärgert): Stop! What are you doing there? The rubber (stolz): I'm working. I've got much work to do. The pencil (immer noch verärgert) No, no, no, idiot. Go away! I'm a pencil, so I'm going to paint the flower again. The rubber (empört): What's going on up there? He does his job, and I want to work, too. I'm a rubber, and rubbing that's my job.(geht trotzig weg.) (Der Bleistift malt voller Schwung weiter.) The pencil (stolz): A flower! What a nice picture! (macht einen Fehler, wird ärgerlich:) Oh dear! I've made a mistake. Where is the rubber? I need a rubber! (Der Bleistift sucht das Radiergummi. Dabei begibt er sich unter die Schülerinnen und Schüler und findet ihn dort.) The pencil (bestimmend): You must come here! The rubber (abweisend): No, I don't want to come! The pencil (einsichtig): Excuse me, please! You are my friend. I need you so much. I'm a pencil. Drawing pictures, that's my job. Bus somestimes I make a mistake. You are a rubber, and rubbing is your job. Help me, please! The rubber: You're right. You are my friend. You need me and I need you. So I'm coming. Wait! (Das Radiergummi und der Bleistift gehen zur Blume. Das Radierguimmi radiert den Fehler weg. Der Bleistift malt die Blume zu Ende. The pencil and the rubber (together): Our job's finished. Our flower looks wonderful. We're friends. Forever. Bye, all together. |
